This fundraiser is for our dear friend, Mark Coleman. He is more than a friend, he is family.
Mark is an amazing father to two boys; he is full of so much life and knowledge. The best mentor in our families life, that we could have ever asked for. He always puts others needs above his own and truly has everyone’s best interest at heart.
Mark helps in our community so much. He is genuine, caring, down to earth; he is giving, kind; Mark is also funny, fun loving, smart, and has been a leader in the business industry for years. Mark now gets to have the joy of being the head assistant Coach of his two boys basketball team; who now are getting to play together on the same varsity team! Mark loves getting to watch them flourish and carry out all of the amazing qualities and values he has taught them day in and day out. He loves his boys more than life itself. You can truly see his eyes light up with joy every time he looks at his boys.
We love Mark dearly and would do anything for him.
When we found out the news of Marks cancer; it was very heart breaking for all of us. It left us speechless. Someone like this who is so full of life and amazing; someone with so much life left ahead of him and with so much kindness and knowledge to give to the world. This couldn’t be happening to this man, someone who we admired and looked up to in so many ways; someone who deserves the very best that life has to offer, who we all love tremendously.
So, along with all the prayers we can muster up. And we ask you to pray along with us too, for his healing; we have all decided to do something about it!! We want to help Mark heal in a tangible way!
Mark needs time to heal without having to worry about anything right now. We want to make things as normal as possible for Mark and his family during such a “non-normal” time in their life. It has been a lot, on him… on his boys.
Our goal is to help defray the medical costs. While also, to help their family manage the day to day expenses of life during this period where he is unable to work. And to be able to lower Marks stress levels with his concerns for his kids needs, so that his body and mind can focus on healing.
Our goal for this campaign is to raise $50,000 by our TARGET DATE of AUGUST 31st!
Marks medical bills are growing exponentially through this time of fighting cancer; we BELIEVE we are going to KICK CANCERS BUTT!! But we need to help him pay off these medical bills and make it day to day without all of the stress on him. He should only have to worry about healing right now, nothing else.
Getting to $50,000 is SIGNIFICANT because it will trigger a BIG EVENT!
Once we get to $50k in public donations, Marks mentor, has offered to kick in an additional $25k!
Many people get by on less, but realistically if you think about it, $50k applied to a single person for a year is not necessarily a lot, but when you consider that; Tru and Tai also have needs and then Mark has his day to day needs plus Medical expenses, you can begin to see that $50k really does not go very far.
So we are really wanting and praying to EXCEED that goal!
The campaign will run for 60 days, but we have established a target date of September 1st for us to hit the $50,000 goal! So that he can be blessed by the $25k donor match!
If we want to be able to hit our $50k goal by the target date of September 1st, 2022 then we will need at least 350 people to donate $145.
