Biscuit’s vet bills

Hi everyone,

Biscuit was in a hit and run tonight. I wasn’t home and I think the lunar new year fireworks scared him enough to venture out of the house. I feel numb and also so grateful for the people that found him and took him to an emergency vet and were so persistent in contacting me.

I know there’s many people and things in life that need our monetary attention and vet bills are among the “least fun ways to spend money” category. I had a really hard time making this page because a lot of reasons and was urged by a friend to just try, so here we are.

I want to offer that if you’d like to help this endeavor and also receive art to contact me and we can work that out! If you’d like a piece of art I already have or a commission or a lesson! Or a backyard wall/fence mural? Or I’ll walk your dog(s) , or do another task that you have a need for that I can fulfill.

He’s staying the night tonight and will likely need more care afterward to deal with internal bleeding.

The current paid amount is a little under 4k and I’m expecting at least another 1k in expenses judging from the talk I had with the doctor.

I understand my place in society and that there are humans that need financial help also, and this is hard for me to ask for because of all that. I will continue to help my neighbors whenever I can and pay it forward in all senses of the phrase. I appreciate any amount of support and please don’t hesitate to inquire about art or work trade!
