Help us get back in a home

Hello, my name is Robert and I’m fundraising for my family. Four years ago I was diagnosed with Lyme disease and everything started to fall apart for my family. The doctor started with doxycycline which didn’t help just caused a lot of stomach problems. I have had 26 injections into my lower back and Si joints in addition nerve burns done on the right and left side of my lower back along with nerve blocks. This was done to try and help with the pain I deal with and help to stop my legs from going numb. I have a spinal cord stimulator in my back to try and help with my pain level. My legs tingle all the time so it’s not safe for me to really drive. I wake up with my hands swollen so much I have to wear a nylon wedding band. I have a hard time with walking and doing anything normal I need help to get out of bed or even off of the toilet. I have to use a shower chair so I don’t fall down which I’ve already done a few times before. I had a Picc line in for 30 days while my wife gave me Cefuroxime which is the antibiotic used to treat this disease.over thanksgiving weekend I blacked out twice once hitting my face on a bathroom vanity to wear, my nose, had to be skin glued back together. One of the times I blacked out I stopped breathing to wear my brother‘s wife resuscitated me, and then they called paramedics to get me to the hospital. Now this disease is attacking my heart so I’ve been placed on a blood pressure medication along with all of the pain medication. It looks like I will have another pick line in this time for quite a while timeframe yet unknown. I can’t work anymore since this virus has raked havoc on my body. I started working when I was 13 and have been constantly working ever since until I contracted this disease. We just received a 10 day eviction notice so now my family and I have nowhere to live. I have a case pending with SSDI and has been for the last three years. Still waiting on approval so this amount of money would allow us to be able to move into a home with an affordable mortgage, instead of an outrageous rent that keeps climbing.
