Help Us Rebuild after House Fire!

Hello everyone! My name is Kush Khatiwada. On Tuesday, May 9th, 2023, at around four o'clock in the evening, we experienced a devastating fire that resulted in the loss of everything we owned. The cause of the fire is still unknown. Fortunately, my wife Geeta, my son Abhas, and I were able to escape the house safely in time. The fire completely destroyed the kitchen, living room, garage, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The rest of the house and all our belongings have suffered heavy smoke damage. We are essentially starting from scratch as the house is a total loss.

While we do have insurance, dealing with them has been a nightmare. For the past two days, we have been displaced and staying in hotels. We have had to miss work and school because of this situation, and the uncertainty is especially scary for the kids. Our home was located in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. We are a family of four, and our youngest son Abhas has a disability and requires extensive medical care and equipment.

During this uncertain time, we humbly ask for any help that you can provide to support our family in rebuilding our lives after the loss of our home and belongings.
