GenderGP Fees and Transition Costs
UPDATE: I have been absolutely blown away by people's generosity. I'm hoping to do a proper thank you in the future to those who want it, probably involving drawings of goats.
Unfortunately, I have used up all the money raised, as I've also booked laser hair removal sessions, bought some more grey-market hormones, while I wait for GenderGP to set me up with some official ones, and booked voice training lessons. I'm leaving up the gofundme in case any one wants to help me out with those, but please don't feel pressured to, though any help would be appreciated greatly.
6 sessions of laser is £387, 6 voice training lessons is approximately £450, though it's really $600, so it depends on the conversion rate and fees I get.

Hey, I need to buy my gender from GenderGP, but they're charging way more than I was expecting, hiding the total cost behind multiple mandatory purchases that are only made obvious once you have already sunk a lot of money in.
The current amount they're charging is £560, this include "setup fees" and multiple mandatory short, but extremely expensive, sessions with doctors where I will have to beg for access to hormones.
Unfortunately, access to NHS treatment has been made impossible by consistent campaigns from transphobes and they've funded by extreme conservative organisations. Current waiting times for your first appointment is officially at between 5 and ∞ years, and all during this time your body will be permanently cementing in the wrong gender. GenderGP is one of the only ways to safely transition in England.
I've already paid for everything on a credit card, which I will need to pay by the end of the month. I've already raised £119 from some incredibly generous individuals, so I still need £440.
Unfortunately there will still be costs after this. Hormone costs for the rest of my life. Surgery costs, which I'm not even considering at the moment due to the price.
I managed to get cheap laser hair removal on my face, but due to covid, I have been unable to consistently use the sessions I pre-booked, so they've been ineffective and I still suffer debilitating dysphoria when I see the stubble on my face.
Right now I'm focused on the £440 needed for access to GenderGP's services which will allow me to access safe hormones and more treatment down the line.
