Dementia UK

Hey, I’m Alice. My friends and I from my hockey team are running in the Birmingham half marathon on May 4th to raise money for dementia research in honour of my late grandad Geoff, who battled with this illness. Any donations would be hugely appreciated and would mean the world to all of us. ❤️

Hey I’m claudia and a few people in my hockey team have decided to run to raise money and awareness for people with dementia in the UK. My grandmother unfortunately passed last Easter and it would be amazing to reach our goal of £1000 in honour of her ️️️

Hi I’m Bea, my grandma Lala has been suffering with dementia for many years now. Seeing the impact it’s had on her and the rest of my family, make it an important cause to raise money for. ❤️

This is a charity that’s close to all of our hearts.

Dementia affects millions of families and friends and all donations will help in advancing understanding and research.

We decided to do this on a whim with one month to train, so wish us luck— we’ve only run 5k to date. Pic inserted is our first run together‍♀️️
