Support Josh's Journey to Recovery

Help Josh on his road to recovery.

The man who stops everything to assist anyone and everyone is now in need of our love and support. On November 9th, Josh was headed to his uncle’s funeral. He was riding his late uncle’s motorcycle to have as a tribute at the services. On the way there, he was hit by a car that severed the bones and blood supply just above his ankle to the right foot. He received two extensive surgeries to rebuild veins, reconstruct muscle, and had a rod placed for his bone, in an attempt to save his leg and prevent amputation.

The morning of November 24th, Josh received the devastating news that the reconstruction they had done to save his foot had failed. Today, November 27th, he underwent his third surgery resulting in a knee-down amputation.

To complicate matters further, this year Josh had taken the risk to pursue his dream of owning and operating his own car dealership and has worked tirelessly to get that going. The complex nature of this employment has created a rather complicated situation with insurance and healthcare coverage. This is actively being worked on, though the medical bills have been rapidly increasing.

Josh now faces a challenging journey ahead, adapting to his new reality while managing medical expenses, ongoing physical therapy, follow-up appointments, and the process of healing both physically and emotionally.
