A Fundraiser That's Not A Drag 2021

WHAT’S HAPPENING -

Last year we raised $207,00 for 8 diverse outdoor nonprofits.

This year we want to double that and raise $500,000 for 5 nonprofits working to make the outdoors a more equitable place.

Here's how it will work.

 

- You DONATE now, whatever you can. $5 $25 $100 $1000 Anything helps!

- You GET TO CHALLENGE ME! - I am challenging you to donate what you can and in return you get to challenge me! Pick a music video for me to recreate in just 24 hours. Name your music video challenge in the comments on Go Fund Me when you make your donation and we’ll pick a video nomination out of the hat on Wednesday and post the finished video Thursday.  

 

-We see how much we can raise TOGETHER from now until Friday, December 3rd.

-Make sure to follow the link in our donation Thank You email to give us your mailing address so we can mail you our lil thank you. 

 

THE WHY-

Let’s support the organizations who support diversity, equity and inclusion! Over the past year, our community has had the opportunity to get to know each of these 5 non-profits personally and see the amazing work they do to make a difference. Let’s support the organizations who support diversity, equity and inclusion!

Here it begins! With YOU. Y’all, here’s the truth, Pattie’s community would be NOTHING without your support. You’ve followed along for the past year, and girl oh girl has it been a year, but now, it’s time to give back AND raise up the non-profit’s who have made Pattie’s journey so special the past year.

This can only happen with your help. Let’s make these organizations feel like queens.

THE LINE UP-

Here are the 5 non-profit’s we’re fundraising for! All funds raised will be divided evenly and will be transferred directly from GoFundMe.org to the 501c3 accounts of these five organizations:

1. OUTDOOR OUTREACH connects youth from communities historically impacted by social inequities with transformative outdoor experiences and supportive relationships that help them overcome challenges, thrive, and succeed..

2. EASTERN SIERRA CONSERVATION CORP provides opportunities for young adults from priority populations to experience and better understand wilderness and the outdoors by providing transformational and immersive experiences through trail and conservation work.

3. THE CHILDREN'S HOME PROJECT brings people and resources together to support and change the lives of children in Honduras.

4. BRAVE TRAILS is a leadership summer camp by LGBTQ+ people for LGBTQ+ youth.

5. QUEER OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP EXPEDITION SCHOLARSHIPS - supports fully scholarshipped backcountry expeditions for queer people with a focus on those from marginalized socio economic backgrounds. This program was initiated by yours truly, Pattie Gonia, with the support of NOLS & many of our brand partners.
