Courtney's healing journey

Hello new and old friends,

My name is Courtney, and I'm doing something unfamiliar and brave and difficult:

I'm asking for help.

I have an opportunity to attend a magical, reputable healing retreat on a full scholarship, but I need help raising the rest of the travel funds. This experience means the world to me, and so I am asking if you can help make my dream a reality.

I am not at all new to the path of healing - my journey with Plant Medicine started In 2020 when I overcame my drug addiction and started transforming every part of my life.

I grew up in a dysfunctional environment, and was diagnosed with bipolar at age 14. I was told I would never work or live a normal life.

I have struggled with anxiety, addiction, OCD, phobias, depression, poor self esteem, financial insecurities, abusive relationships, ulcerative colitis, arthritis, fibromyalgia and PTSD.

But that isn't the end of my story. With the healing that I have already done, some of these have gotten significantly better, and this makes me hopeful for further healing. I want to do anything and everything I can to heal so I can give my daughter a chance at a life my family was not able to give me.

I live on a fixed income from a disability, so attending a life-changing retreat like this can only be possible with assistance. The funds I raise from this GoFundMe will cover the international plane ticket, all additional food, transportation, and babysitting support to make sure I can do this without causing financial harm/stress to me and my little girl.

I believe so strongly in the healing power of these medicines and would love the opportunity to take advantage of this incredible retreat scholarship. I am asking for support in making this healing journey a reality. I can't thank you enough for supporting me and my daughter. May all beings experience the healing they deserve.
