Support Sam's Recovery

On 13th November, Sam was involved in a car crash, which resulted in serious injuries. As friends and family of Maggie, Pete, Sam, Harry and Rachel, we have looked to support the family and feel that perhaps the time has come to channel this support into something practical.

Whatever Sam's recovery looks like in the future, he will need some help. One of the family's hopes is that he will recover enough to live an independent life. A step towards that might be living in Maggie and Pete's already converted den, but in order to do this, modifications would be needed. Obviously, they have not had the time or space to look in any detail at the financial implications of this, but any money not spent on Sam's recovery, would be donated to an appropriate charity such as a brain injury charity or the air ambulance (which may have made a difference if it had been operating on the night of the accident).

Maggie and Pete would like to make it clear that they are managing financially and do not want anyone to feel obliged to donate. We, as friends and family, have requested that we set this up on their behalf and with their permission in order to express our love for them and our desire to support them and stand with them as they navigate the challenges that will come.

Maggie, Pete, Harry and Rachel are so grateful for the support they've received in so many ways.
