Update stevie went home on hospice tuesday as her lung still hadn't healed and they had to cancel brain surg, was ready to give up , but family all rallied around her & now she is in icu at carle in urbana , they started over on her medical. and they are trying different things on lung , then working on plan for brain surg, and radiation and whatever else , she still got a long road ahead of her but she still got the fight in her ! ❤ Hello ,Stephanie brant here ,raising funds to help Stevie Taylor with expenses while she fights this long battle of cancer. Feb 20 was her 4th trip to er as she had been sick for over month, finally they did a mri cat scan, which they seen fluid on brain along with a mass in brain, nodule in lung, she was immediately transferred to osf in peoria, upon arrival they immediately placed a tube in brain drain fluid,feb 21 they done biopsy on lung , later that day her lung collapsed & since then they've had trouble getting it to stay up,they cannot get it to heal ,on 25th her biopsy results come back as she has lung & brain cancer, they were going to remove mass on brain feb27th but her lung is not stable enough at this time, the next step is possibly removing lung to outside of chest to try to get it to heal,then they'll decide if they can proceed with brain surgery, the mass is fingered into brain , so they wont be able to remove it all so then she half to go through radiation, she got a long road ahead of her, her husband bill has been off work thru all of this, they still have all there Bill's coming in plus transportation, hotel stays , food and whatever is needed why she there,and for family as they go back n forth to be with her and there will be more expenses when she does come home , so asking if anyone can help them out it would be greatly appreciated, money is the last thing they need to be worried about at this time , if your able to help thank u if you cant say a prayer , this has been aweful seeing her go thru all this .thank you.
