Tony's Fight Against Cancer!

Dear family and friends,

As you know my daddy was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer January 2016. The oncologist suggested colon resection surgery and then 3 months worth of aggressive chemo to see if that would help the cancer in his liver and lungs shrink. And he did just that. The surgery was successful at cutting the tumor out. The chemo was unbearable, absolutely horrible to watch him go through that. As the three months finished we understood that the Dr. would re-scan my dad and possibly be done with chemo. We were rudly and ubruptly shut down of that idea, "Sir you have stage 4 cancer, the most aggressive kind. You will be on chemo the rest of your life!" We decided as a family that it would be best to stop chemo because it was doing more draining of life and bad, than good. As we made that decision I did a lot of research on the best holistic approaches and quickly found clinics in Mexico that fit our needs. On January 1, 2017 he and my mom set off for Mexico. It went very well they did several therpies that allowed his body to heal itself. Lots of vitamins, clean eating, filtering of his blood and stem cells and hypothermic therapies to name a few. The clinic wanted my dad to stay for at least 8 weeks, but he opted for 5 weeks because it got pretty expensive, very quickly. At the end of his stay the doctor's did a scan and everything shrunk remarkably. So much so that they were small enough to not light up in the scans. They did note that there were 2 spots that seemed suspicious, but weren't big enough to call cancer. He seemed very well! Then a couple months later in June he started with lots of abdominal pain. The doctors wrote it off as being his cancer because they were unaware of his visit to Mexico. The doctors put him on pain medicine and sent him home. He did another scan over here and it showed the cancer spots growing and spreading slowly. At this time it spread to his lymph nodes. We finally got a Dr. to take the area of his pain more seriously. He observed that his spots were pretty small and most likely were not causing the excruciating pain. He advised my dad to take a blood test to test for Pancrease enzymes because of the area of pain. And sure enough he had elevated pancrease enzymes. Which caused him to end up in the hospital on August 1, 2017 with pancreatitis, where they leave you a couple days on iv fluids with no food or water to rest your pancreas. He was there for about 4 days and was released. My dad then ended up back in the hospital a couple days later for the same thing, where they diagnosed him with chronic pancreatitis. He was there for 6 days and then released. And yet again, another couple of days later he went into the hospital for the same thing. This time they realized one of his lymph node tumors was pushing up on his biliary duct to his liver and pancreas. They decided to surgically put in a stent. Which was a little complicated and caused my dad to be in sever pain, extreme tiredness, and loss of appetite. He was in the hospital this time for 2 weeks and lost a lot of weight. They also assigned him hospice. He has been home since September 11, 2017 and been very weak, sleepy and in some pain. His breathing is all of the sudden going downhill, as a result hospice brought him a small oxygen tank as needed. We are needing to try and fix his condition ASAP. Our only medical hope aside from our complete faith in GOD, is Mexico where the expenses are $19,000 up front every 3 weeks, and lodging is another expense. Not to mention all the hospital bills. We are in the process of seeing if the clinic would even be an option. We would like to put his story out there to try and raise the funds so he can either return to Mexico for treatment or try to make him as comfortable as possible at home. Prayers are our number one request because in Jesus name this too shall pass. Donations are greatly appreciated. We love you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We truly appreciate any and all help possible.
