My name is Jasmine Curtis, it is with extreme sadness that I have to announce the death of my big brother Henry Sanders. I am writing to you today, to let you know about the sudden and tragic loss of my big brother Henry Sanders, who died while in police custody on August 1st, 2024. Henry was a bright spark in this world and will be deeply missed. My brother Henry was kind, loving, loyal, and an overcomer. Henry was a son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend to many. My big brother Henry was more than just a friend; he was a beacon of kindness, compassion, and strength. He was a shoulder to cry on and a hand to hold. Henry has left an indelible mark on all who knew him. We ask for your support and prayers as we grieve and mourn for our loss. We are establishing a burial and memorial fund to cover the costs associated with Henry's funeral; Our family was not prepared for the high cost of his funeral and memorial, and during this difficult time, we are reaching out to the community for help.. This fund will help alleviate the financial burden on my family during this difficult time and allow us to celebrate Henry's life in a manner befitting his memory.
