Please Help the Lopez Family

Hi there!! 
Im trying to Help my friend Yamil Lopez and her family raise some money.
In June,  her son Jay was in a terrible car accident
 He became paralyzed from the neck down and has been in the hospital since.  He made some improvements while there and will respond to his parents by blinking eyes and raising his eyebrows.  Hes battled infections, while in the hospital , but was able to pull through. He is currently  trached and on a vent. He needs full time care. Yamil, his mom, does pre screening calls from home (She works with me at Smilow Cancer Center in Trumbull) in order to provide for him. But this os only part time. 
His family is remaining confident  that he will make some sort of recovery,  but it was just suggested that he should be placed on hospice.  They want him home now. In order to do so, they will need a generator for their home. They were quoted $5000 to do this. The family does not have this right now so im asking for your help. Plus a little extra, to help with Bills, food, medical expenses , etc.... If you can find it in your heart to donate, please help! This family would do the same for you.  They just want their son home
