Lola needs urgent help XXx Operation xXX
Donation protected
Hi my name is Donna, I have 2 beautiful Rottweilers.
But my Lola has a tumor deep in her pelvis and needs an operation as soon as possible.
They have put her on palliative care to see if I can raise the money for the operation, which is going to cost £5000.
I’m on universal credit and I cannot afford this operation on my own.
I have had Lola since her mother gave birth to her. She is only 7 yrs old. I don’t want to lose her.
I would be so grateful for any donations towards her operation. Can you please help me
============ About lola before and during vet visit ===========
lola started yelping when she was going for a poop, so we took her to medivet in Eaton road.
They took her in for an emergency scan. The scan found a mass, and they told us this may be cancer.
they then said they will put her to sleep and put a dye inside her and do a proper scan to find out what this mass is.
at 9:30pm we got a phone call from medivet saying the mass is a tumor deep inside her pelvis and is benign.
they told us she will need an operation to remove it but will cost £5000 for the OP.
this was after they give me a bill for £2766 to find this out.
We all gave everything we had to pay this bill.
we told medivet there is no way we can pay £5000 OnTop of £2766 bill, so they referred us to the PDSA.
Today PDSA told us they will not touch Lola because the Tumor is too deep inside her pelvis.
And referred us again to another vet.
medivet told us they will do the Operation but we need to pay the £5000 in Full. (edited)
============= About Lola ===============
When Lola was 6 months old, we noticed she was walking differently, so we took her to the PDSA. They told us over a 2-year period (with lots of medication) that it was arthritis. We took her to medivet to get a 2nd opinion when she was 2 half. And medivet told us it is not arthritis that she has hip dysplasia and she needs an operation to fix one of her back legs we paid £1500 for this OP. 6 months down the line her other back leg went and we had to spend another £1500 to fix that leg.
6 months later now her legs were fixed. We let her have some puppies; she had 8 girls 1 male. She was a great mum, and we got to keep one girl we called Bher, to give Lola some company.
she also last year had to have an operation on her eye because of a cyst on her eyeball.
this also cost us £2400 to get this fixed.
we have had to scrimp and save for all these operations with help from friends and family, but there is not much help this time round.
and now Lola needs help from you kind people to get this tumor removed.
any help given will be appreciated, i do not want to lose lola i have to give her the best chance i can to live.
all donations will go strait to lola's operation and Any money i have leftover from operation we will donate to a dog charity.
all i can say is thank you so much to you kind hearted people.
