Emergency Vet Funds

Friends and family, I’m reaching out in hopes to help my sister and future brother-in-law with emergency vet funds that have developed this evening. Their poor Oakley boy has a complex medical background to start (he is completely blind and goes in for frequent eye pressure checks and drops). Just last night, they had to make an emergency visit to find out he now has bloat (a serious condition leading to twisting of the stomach and death). This is completely unrelated to his medical background and is a serious matter. Putting their dog first, they decided it was best for him to stay the night at the hospital for close observation in case they need to perform emergency surgery in the event of his stomach twisting. Between my sister’s grad school debt, my brother in law’s Myasthenia Gravis treatment, and their wedding planning, money has become an extreme stressor. Oakley is a part of the family and we all want nothing more than for him to be back home with his people. Even if you can’t donate, a simple share of this event would be tremendous help. Life seems to be throwing them a lot of obstacles lately and I hope with the help of this event, we can provide them some peace of mind. Thank you all for your support.
