Helping a Family in need this Christmas!

Hello,

 

My name is Ayanna Parrish and I am a student pursuing my MPH Degree at Georgia Southern. This year, I am asking that all of my friends and family join me in giving back to a family that needs help during the holidays. I was compelled to start this drive because when I thought about what I WANTED for Christmas, I realized that I truly did not NEED for anything. But there are people struggling, especially because they may not have recovered from the pandemic whose needs are more important than my wants! As a young woman, I am blessed to have a roof over my head, food, and the heart to help out a family that is less fortunate than me. This season, the greatest gift anyone could give me is the ability to help change another families situation. I am asking that my family, friends and even strangers join me in raising money to be able to bless a less fortunate family with gifts that include gas cards, grocery cards, gift cards, coats, and anything else that they may need such as assistance with rent/utilities. It is important to me as a public health student to be a direct change within my community. The family that I will be donating to will remain completely anonymous.
