Tianna’s Fight. Please help Tianna beat Cancer.

Hi my name is Christie and I am starting this fundraising campaign for my beautiful niece Tianna.

This is a message from Tianna’s parents

Tianna our 22 year old daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 diffuse anaplastic wilms in September of 2021. She’s had her right kidney removed, completed only cycle 8 of 14 cycles of regimen UH3, then only 1 cycle of 10 cycle of ICE. She’s not been able to complete either treatments as the chemos made her really ill especially the ICE. They recommended we stop or we could lose Tianna.

She’s had a relapse to her humerus bone which was treated with radiation, she now has nodules in both lungs another relapse. We were told her best chance of cure was the previous chemo she didn’t complete and the only options left now are not guaranteed. We were also told at this point there’s no cure for her and they don’t know what the future looks like

We are basically trying to control it at this point.

We are now looking to pursue treatments outside of Canada with a specialist that works with adults with Wilms Tumour Cancer with relapse.

The family has contacted Dr Ortiz a specialist in New York and he has taken an interest and is running some trials that are possibly suited for Tianna. This will be expensive, the consultation alone will be a lot, however Tianna’s life is worth the expense. If the consultation goes well likely Tianna will need to go to New York for treatments.

I know we have been here before and we have asked a lot from our family friends and community and we are asking again if you can help us with Tianna’s fight. Our heartfelt thanks to all who support us through prayers, encouragement, and walking along Tianna as she battles for her life.
