Adoption of The Six Pack and A Forever Home

Hello, my name is Amanda and many of you already know of me as the Auntie who proudly took in these 6 beautiful babies to keep them from being split up into state custody. What I thought to be a temporary journey has turned into 3 beautiful years. I took on this task without a clue as to how I was going to do it but by the grace of God, family, friends, neighbors and my community I HAVEN'T MISSED A BEAT! I went from an empty nest to the sound of 12 little feet over night. I may not have splurged and gotten them every single thing they've wanted but not one day have we went without what we've needed. I have never really had to ask for monetary assistance because I get up and work my tale off every single day for these babies to have a proper living. I never miss work, I budget and extreme coupon like it's my job! I don't want anyone to think in the back of their heads "if she can't pay legal fees, how can she take care of those kids" I provide the love, care and a safe haven for these babies and that's way more than money could ever buy. These children are loved beyond belief, they have a village behind them, they are in a safe environment and will never have to worry about being neglected, homeless, abused or hungry again if I have anything to do with it. I currently have guardianship over them but want a more secure form of protection for them. I am seeking legal aid to adopt them and since it is 6 children it can get extremely costly in lawyer fees. The actual total will cost roughly $20,000 (due to the amout of children involved). The down payment would be $10,000. I figured if my family, friends and community could help with $5,000 then I could pull the other $5,000 from my own savings. Thefore, the down payment would be complete and I'd worry about the remaining $10,000 when we got to that point. These babies most definitely didn't ask to be put in this situation and for them.....
