Help Marty's Family & Business

Marty Rasberry is the owner/operator of Marty's Grill in Chilliwack BC. It's a small, well run business with great food and a cozy family atmosphere since 2011. Marty's daughter Penny, and three sons Donald, Jason, and Nicholas are all paramount to the day to day operations; the sons all work as cooks, and Penny as Server/Hostess/Manager. Penny took on additional responsibilities following her Mother's unexpected death from an aneurysm in June of 2012.
Thursday morning, August 20, Penny arrived at her fathers residence to check on him, as he had been feeling ill in the previous few days. She found him in the middle of a seizure, and called paramedics. He is currently in Intensive Care on a respirator unable to speak, and barely able to move. They have found a large tumor in his abdomen, and several other medical issues requiring immediate attention. His prognosis is not good.
No other family member has signing authority on the business account, and when Penny revealed to the bank what had happened with her Dad, the bank froze the account, making it impossible to pay for the business expenses and pay employees. They won't even cash paycheques signed by Marty BEFORE any of this happened. As a result, Marty's is forced to accept cash only, as they are unable to access debit or credit transactions which are deposited directly into the account they cannot access, further hurting the business.
We are asking for funds to help to keep the business up and running until things are sorted out with the bank, and possible legal advice, as there is no will in place and doctors have advised he may not survive. Your help would be so gratefully appreciated. This family is very endeared to our community, and we hope to raise enough funds to see them through the rough times.
