Help The Powell Family Recover After the Palisades Fire
Donation protected
Our dear friend, cousin, aunt, sister, and mom, Amy Powell, has lost her beloved home in the Palisades, like so many others. Designed and built by the family in 1992, this was much more than just a house. It was a sanctuary of peace, a hub for family gatherings, a showcase of the Tide Pool Gallery's seashell collection, and most importantly, where her two daughters Jamie and Chelsea were raised. In COVID, Amy opened her patio as a hair salon to the community - welcoming neighbors into her own home on Hartzell and creating a haven in dark times, not dissimilar to now. If you were lucky enough to visit her bougainvillea covered yard, you might have appreciated her incredible mosaics and enjoyed one of her artisanal baked goods. She was the host with the most, and will continue to be as she recovers from this devastating fire.
We are raising funds to help support Amy after this tremendous loss, so she can once again provide her signature warmth and hospitality to the community she has loved for 30+ years. Thank you for your support and love.
