Eye surgery

To those who know me from highschool know I was shot in the eye. For those who do not know, there you have it. Back in highschool I was shot in my left eye with a 22 ca pellet rifle. The pellet went through the eye and embedded itself in my eye socket and cannot be removed. My eye has been rendered blind with a detached retina, severed optic nerve, and displaced pupil. When the accident happened suits were tried in order to recover insurance money for surgery costs, but were unsuccessful. I have had two major surgeries to try and salvage any for of vision but my doctor says the eye will always be blind, which I have come to terms with, but the eye is dying, it has glazed over with calcium crystals which constantly scrape the eyelids and light enters the eye and bounces in the wrong angles due to the detached retina and displaced pupil. This causes severe pain and most days I cannot go without wearing a patch or at the very least very dark sunglasses. The pain feels as if someone is trying to pry my eye out with a spoon. Eventually the doctors say my immune system could recognize my bad eye as normal and attack the vision in the good eye as a result. i have been lucky so far but am leaning towards surgery. If you have read this far I thank you for hearing my story. I normally don't ask for any help and I try to help others as much ad I can. I am afraid the surgery costs are just too much for me to handle, so my family suggested start a go fund me account. So here I am. Anything helps and once again thank you for hearing my story. God bless.
