The Sawyer family

My childhood friend has unexpectedly passed away. He was an incredible man, husband, father, soldier and human being. He unfortunately leaves behind his 4 children and wife. Him and his wife were the epitome of what a true loving relationship and friendship looks like. They were true to themselves and stuck through thick and thin dating back to grade school. This blessing has even passed down to their children, spoiled in love and affection. They had so much love to give they even adopted and gave other children a chance to experience what some may never have; a family and endless love and affection. He served his country honorably with dignity, courage, sacrifice and selfless service; while being deployed and stationed around the world with his family by his side He was also an organ donor and on the day he passed, he granted 3 others with a chance at an extension in life. They have given so much, I would like us to give back. I know money will not fill the empty void in their lives, but it will help down the road ahead. Thank you for your time and generosity.

Sgt. Brian Sawyer, 33, was injured Feb. 3 in his on-post home, the release said, but the seriousness of his condition required a transfer to Madigan Army Medical Center, the release said.
“The Flying Dragon family grieves together today at the loss of one of our own,” Lt. Col. Jorge Rosario, Sawyer’s battalion commander, said in the release. “Sgt. Brian Sawyer will be greatly missed and our prayers are with his family and friends.”
His cause of death is under investigation, according to the release.
