Lets help keith

Keith has done so much for my family and myself and all of the veterans he can help. Now the time has come to return the favor. Keith posted on Facebook saying that he needs help, for those that know Keith know that if he is reaching out he truly does need it. The following is what he had posted on Facebook.... 

Hello Everyone.

I need to ask for a huge favor. The time I’ve not been looking forward to has come a little sooner than I had hoped. My shoulders have gotten so degraded with muscle tears and joints rubbing that I now am going to have to get a ramp van. Transferring into a car has become so painful that it’s now a matter of safety.

I’ve been falling sometimes between the wheelchair and car seat because I can barely transfer all the way without the pain causing me to buckle. And trying to lift myself up from the door jam causes even more pain and damage.

So, if anyone knows of any funding sources, I’m not service-connected so I’m not eligible for VA assistance, or has an idea for a fundraiser I can do I would really appreciate any help or ideas. This is hard for me to ask for help but I really need some right now.

It’s gotten to the point that I’m afraid to go places or do some things and I’m not ready to lose the independence I’ve fought so long and hard for.

One of the worst parts is the fact that the people and organizations that I help with and volunteer for have become limited but that’s me and what I do. I can’t not help. It’s my life and passion.

So if anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would truly appreciate any help.
