Cindy Smith Cancer Fund

My Aunt Cindy was diagnosed in February with Triple Negative Metaplastic Breast Cancer which is a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer. She has been going through chemo every week for the last four months and still has more to go. She will need to have surgery and after that a year of Keytruda infusions. There is also the possibility of having to go through radiation. All of this has taken its toll on my Aunt. She is the backbone of her family and has taken care of her husband who has Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease (a form of Muscular Dystrophy) and is also a double amputee. The medical bills keep adding up and while our biggest fear is of losing her, her biggest fear is leaving her family with a mountain of debt. She has always been there to help anyone in need, and now it is our turn to help her. This Go Fund Me is being set up in hopes of alleviating some of her stress so that she can focus on her healing, as she has a very long road ahead of her.
