Help me help my mom

My mom is amazing.
This is a woman who worked on the Titan missile project in the middle of the Cold War. She held her own with math majors, converting binary code to hexadecimal in her head. She spent 1969 on the Sunset Strip. The hippies used to ask her if she was a model. She saw The Doors in concert. She's the best.
She always had faith in me; she believed that I could be whoever and whatever I wanted to be. From the summer of 2016 through the end of 2020, I wouldn't have been able to pursue my passion for political campaigning without her help, encouragement, and safety net. She's my best friend, and she's been there for me through all the highs, lows, and everything in between.
My mom has always been fiercely independent and a survivor. She used to walk with the assistance of her wheeled walker, which she insists on calling her "rollater," but she was basically still mobile.
Then she got a UTI that went septic. It was horrifying. One moment, she was having a typical day, and 45 minutes later, she was incoherent and non-responsive. The nurses assured me she would live, but they didn't know what state she'd been living in. She spent a hundred days in rehab, until her insurance no longer covered her stay. Now: she can't walk; she can't even stand up and needs help getting from her bed to her wheelchair. She needs help changing her diapers. No one told me that she would need Medicaid until maybe five days before she was released, but we need assistance now.
I don't mind that I had to quit my job to take care of her, but we're facing a grave situation with our finances, and it seems like every week there's something new costing a couple hundred dollars, whether it be transportation costs or medication or mobility aids, not to mention the diapers. If we can make it one more month, we'll have Medicaid covering most of the expenses from then on, but for now, it doesn't look like we're going to even make it there. I've applied for every piece of government assistance I can find, but these things take time, and time is something we do not have.
I never thought I would be in the position of creating a GoFundMe, but my mom has been there for me through so much. I must return the favor. We need help now and would be eternally grateful for any financial assistance offered.
