Bringing Ricardo Home

My dad has been my rock always! He has a great sense of humor, everyone that has met him loves his wittiness and joyful personality. He was visiting in Peru for 3 months and while there he hurt his foot. Unfortunately, since he traveled alone, he didn’t inform anyone about the wound getting infected. When he was admitted to the clinic in Lima, Peru. The diagnostic was to amputate the left leg above the knee. It was a difficult decision to make as a daughter but his life was in danger. I thought about my daughter who still needs her “abuelo” and I need my rock. Surgery is over and his first reactions are a testament to his tenacity to live. He will need a lot of love, which is not scarce. I’m asking for your contribution as we need to cover the cost of the clinic and travel expenses to Peru, may he need medical assistance to go back. I’m currently in Lima, but will have to get back soon to the US, the thought of not having my dad back at home will be hard to swallow. Most importantly, he wants to go back home soon and see her granddaughter.
