8th Grade Students at Beth Shields Middle School

In honor of Chase Young, the Young family is setting up an annual GoFundMe fund to help 8th-grade students at Beth Shields Middle School (a Title 1 school where he taught) attend their end-of-year field trip to Universal Studios. This was an activity Chase enjoyed with his students. His impact is far-reaching for these students and the annual fundraiser will carry on his legacy. Many of the students cannot afford the money it takes to attend. Any amount helps.

Chase was a teacher who was accessible to all his students - they loved him because he could connect with them. Inclusivity and reaching those who needed it the most hallmarked his teaching; the bonus of doing it all with a focus on fun. The student connection can be hard to achieve, and he did this with an impact that reached all those who knew him.
