Help Ease the Burden of Medical Bills
Donation protected
Hi and hello!! As most of you know I have been having medical issues since last year. I was first diagnosed with back to back pneumonia. After a few months of back
and forth and having trouble breathing, I took myself to the emergency room and was rushed up to Penrose hospital by flight for life ambulance. While there, over 4 pounds of fluid was drained from my left lung, 16 mL was drained from my heart, I had a pericardial window put at the bottom of my heart, then was diagnosed with breast cancer. Fast forward a few months as I am undergoing chemotherapy, I ended up needing a blood transfusion (red and white blood cells don’t regenerate because of chemotherapy). A few days after the transfusion, I had a horrific nosebleed that wouldn’t stop. I called 911 and was taken to
a hospital and was given 1 transfusion, but was then taken to UC Health where I received 5 more transfusions. Suffice to say, hospital bills are racking up and I have not worked since February. I’m on short term disability, but that has been enough to cover bills. My family has been helping with groceries, but as hospital bills keep coming in, I’m getting frustrated.
Any and all help would be appreciated!
