Help Krista with her medical expenses!

Our dear friend and beloved bartender, Krista, is in need of our help!

Krista was admitted on May 8th to Riverside Hospital with a perforated appendix, that did ultimately burst, resulting in emergency surgery. Through the series of diagnostics, surgery, and post-op recovery – Krista was hospitalized for a total of 8 days.

Following a rough six-week recovery period in which she was unable to work, she could finally ease back into work & life activities. Unfortunately, having major surgery really took its toll, and she still could not immediately carry her normal shift coverage even once cleared to return.

Then the medical bills arrived.

After much back-and-forth between the hospital and her insurance company, Krista is still around $7,000 in debt on top of the cost of follow-up appointments, missed work, and other unexpected expenses.
