Priscilla Mae White Wentworth of Raymond, NH passed away October 28, 2019 surrounded by her family and friends after a lengthy illness. Born September 11, 1935 in Townsend, MA, daughter of the late Harold Amadon and G. Marian (Shepherd) Amadon.
The oldest of 11 children, she went on to get her nursing degree and work as a Registered Nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA and Parkland Hospital in Derry, NH.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harry B. White, daughter, Barbara White, husband, Clarence M. Wentworth, siblings, Richard Amadon, Robert Amadon and Phyllis Reynolds.
As well as being beloved by her family, she was also involved in many different organizations including The Townsend Women’s Club, The American Legion, Candia Post#91, and a founding member of Providence Baptist Church in Epping, NH where she loved and was loved by her church family.
Survived by her fiance, Mark Nickerson, children, Betty Mahaffey, Wayne Wentworth, Randy Wentworth, Charlene Wentworth, Jo Ann Gates, Bruce Wentworth, Lori Landry, Mickey Weems, James White, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren., siblings, Paul Amadon of New Bedford, Stephen Amadon of S.C., Billy Amadon of New Ipswich, NH, Faith Luhtala of New Ipswich, NH, Carlene Whittemore of Townsend, MA, Carol Amadon of Belfast, ME, M. Gene Hewitt of Ossipee, NH and Port Orange, FL, and generations of nieces and nephews.
Service details:
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Providence Baptist Church, 410 Pleasant St., Epping, NH.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the church.
Burial will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH.
In lieu of flowers, a Go-Fund-Me page has been set up to assist the family with funeral costs.
