Help my family escape from Gaza to Egypt

Hello, my name is Hanan, I’m 20 years old. I was studying Business Administration, but the war took away my chance to continue my education. I write to you now from a place of deep pain and despair. Before October, our lives were filled with hope. My family and I lived a simple, peaceful life in Gaza. But in one horrific moment, the war shattered everything. We were forced to flee from our home, which was destroyed in the bombings. In an instant, we lost everything—our home, our memories, and our sense of normal life.

Today, we are homeless. We have been displaced five times, moving from place to place, desperately seeking safety. But the heartbreaking truth is that there is no safe place in Gaza. The bombs keep falling, fear follows us everywhere, and hunger has become our daily companion.

We are now living in unbearable, tragic conditions. Life here is not just hard; it is a constant battle for survival. We suffer from severe malnutrition, there is not enough food to eat, and we don’t have access to clean water. The freezing cold is setting in, and we don’t even have warm clothes to protect ourselves. But the worst part is the psychological toll. The fear of losing our loved ones and the uncertainty of what tomorrow holds is tearing us apart.

My older brother, who was in his fifth year of medical school, was so close to achieving his dream of becoming a doctor. Now, that dream is slipping away because we can’t afford his tuition fees. My other brother, who had plans to start university, is now gravely ill, suffering from stomach and kidney diseases caused by the contaminated water we drink. And my little sister, who desperately needs ear surgery, has lost any hope of receiving medical care.

All we want now is to survive. We want to escape this nightmare, to rebuild our lives and continue our education. But we can’t do this alone.
