Help for Sofia

Sofia has been diagnosed with CUCI  (ulcerative Colitis)  for more than 1 year ago. She has been struggling with this disease which has destroyed her muscles.

For avoiding it to turn into cancer, she has to have a colonoscopy  which means, to remove a part of her Intenstines for avoiding the spread of the bad cells.

In Mexico Social Security is not enough as they do not perform this kind of surgery. On the other hand,  she doesn’t have a private insurance for paying the surgery which is highly expensive including honoraries , hospitalization, medicines... 



Currently she’s preparing for the surgery, she has to wait until  her body is strong enough to handle such complex surgery. In the meanwhile we want to gather all the funds possible to help her, as her life is pending on this.


The surgery is planned for March 2019. Any donation you can make helps, absolutely everything counts. The target is: $500,000 MXN(mexican peso) ,  USD 26,000 (US dollars )or dkk 170,000 (danish krona.). 

The amount seems big for 1 person but if we can help together, the burden is way better for all. I really hope that you can help her saving her life.
