NEW TracysDogs WELLNESS CENTER

TracysDogs is a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to saving dogs from high kill shelters all over the state of TX.     We are starting a Capital Building Campaign for the construction of a new Wellness Center for the dogs. Since 2013, CampTracy has dealt with excessive flooding that has caused additional hardship on the dogs and the volunteers who take care of them.   The main building is in need of major repair and the cost to repair and modify it to be more suitable for managing the large number of dogs we care for is cost prohibitive.   Our goal  is to construct a new facility that promotes wellness with a design that eliminates the flooding issue at Camp Tracy.      All of the dogs we take in are from municipal kill shelters all over the state of Texas.   Many of these dogs are severely neglected, sick, starved and in need of medical attention.   The current building is no longer suitable to accomodate the growth of our organization nor is it feasible to continue housing the amount of sick dogs we take in.   We know this project is not going to happen overnight and it is a big undertaking.   This being said, we are not going to give up until our goal is reached and the building is complete.   We are working with Alamo Architects on the design so we have started the process!!  We love helping dogs and this new facility will enable us to help more and provide a clean, safe environment for them while they are here.  They deserve this after everything they have been through.
