John Oles

It is with a heavy heart to share the news our beloved, John Oles, “Stretch” recently passed from Covid-19 on Monday, April 13, 2020.  John was a wonderful Husband, Father, Uncle, Brother, Son, and Friend who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Karen and his beloved daughters, Kristen and Kimberly Oles.

John dedicated his life to his family and anyone whoever was in need.  People who knew him described him as generous, kind, loyal, funny, and thoughtful.  He was employed by  Metro North Railroad and was a volunteer fireman with Columbia Power Ladder #44 in Croton-On-Hudson, NY. 

We are all shocked and devastated by John’s loss and the family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service and leaving his family way too soon.  We want to give John, the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.

We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of John’s funeral and to help his family with ongoing needed expenses.
