Chris Needs A Kidney!

Hi friends!

 

We’re coming to you with a couple big requests today, after Chris spent the week in the hospital with renal failure. He has now started dialysis and we are in the process of getting him on the kidney transplant list, but the process is long and we need some support in the meantime.

 

Our biggest need at the moment is financial: we have both been unable to work for a week, and Chris will likely be limited or unable to work for a while longer. We are both self-employed and don’t have disability or family leave benefits, but we are in the process of applying for financial aid through the government and other means.

If you have any ability to give, our family would humbly and greatly appreciate it.

Right now our most pressing financial needs are paying bills/loans, putting gas in the cars, replenishing household/personal items when we run out, and paying out of pocket costs for medical items or medications we need at home.

 

If you’re unable to give financially but would be willing to consider applying to be a kidney donor, we are looking to get as many people signed up as possible! This will give Chris the best chance at getting a transplant as soon as possible and being able to get back to the active life he wants to live, and that we want him to live.
