In Memory of Todd Fair - Support for his family

On December 8th, 2023, Todd Fair lost his life in a tragic logging accident near Gold River, BC. He left his wife of 25 years, Anne Marie and three adult children, Tyson (Liz), grandchildren Cohen and Cade, Nolan (Emma) and Jordyne (Cody) behind, as well as his parents, brother, extended family and numerous friends. At his celebration of life, the building was at full capacity and the line up to pay respect to his family filled the parking lot. He was an incredible man and beloved friend, coach, mentor, co-worker and member of the Campbell River community.

WorkSafe is continuing their investigation into the workplace accident that took Todd's life, which is putting any insurance on hold. This could take up to a year or more to be released which is putting a financial strain on Anne-Marie and her family. Anne-Marie and Todd are both integral parts of our community and have given so much to kids in sport, the lacrosse community, the Cancer Care Travel Van as well as numerous families that have suffered illness, loss and hard times.

We are gratefully accepting donations to the Fair family to help them through this difficult time of loss and give them the time they need to grieve. It is unthinkable to need to return to work immediately after losing your loved one and not feel like you can take the time to heal. His family, friends, co-workers and community are still in shock and disbelief that he is gone. It is an immeasurable loss that will take time, patience and support.
