We are reaching out with a heartfelt request for support on behalf of an extraordinary person - Heather.

Heather has been a beacon of joy and optimism, always putting others first and never asking for anything in return. However, today she needs our help. Heather has a rare form of Crohn’s disease, and her condition has reached a critical point. This year alone, she has been hospitalized nine times, each stay ranging from 5 – 21 days. This is more than 75% of the year that she has been taken away from her children due to this debilitating illness.

Despite countless surgeries, medications, and hospitalizations over the past 20 years, Heather has remained resilient. Now, she is faced with her last treatment option - An intensive stem cell therapy that will once again take her away from her family and friends. This treatment offers her the best hope for regaining a quality of life and a brighter future. She will spent 6 weeks in isolation undergoing high dose chemotherapy and procedures.

Heather is a devoted mother of 5, a loving partner, a cherished daughter, a supportive sister, and a loyal friend. Her life is a testament to her unwavering optimism and commitment to supporting her children's hopes and dreams. Whether it's school functions, college, sports, or career goals, she is always there, moving mountains to be present.

The emotional toll on Heather and her family has been immense. Her children miss their mother's daily presence, her partner bears the weight of her absence, and Heather herself grapples with the fear and uncertainty of her health challenges. Yet, through it all, her optimism and courage shines brightly! Inspiring everyone around her.

Now we pray and hope to rally the support to help Heather during her upcoming treatments. She will be 5 hours away from home for a minimum of 6 weeks, and the associated costs are significant. Funds raised will go towards gas, transportation, parking fees, hotel costs, food, and other expenses. This financial support will not only aid Heather but also allow her family to visit her during this challenging time.

Heather has endured more than most can imagine, and she deserves the chance for a long, happy, and healthy life.
