Emergency Surgery

Hi friends, Fiona needs your help. A couple days ago after her menstrual cycle had finished she started bleeding again, this time a mixture of blood and opaque fluids.

Upon a vet visit she is suffering from Pyometra which to describe breifly is…

”Pyometra is a serious and potentially life-threatening infection of the uterus that causes it to fill with bacteria and pus. Many dogs with a pyometra have vaginal discharge and may feel very sick with a poor appetite, lethargy, vomiting and sometimes increased thirst or urination.”

The vet has told me that she will need emergency surgery asap. Being a large breed and a senior lady makes the risks higher and thus more expensive but needs to be done immediately. If you are willing and able, we would be so so great full.
