Jade's Furry Friends 5K

Ever since Little Miss Jade came into my life, rescues have had a special place in my heart.

We donate and volunteer at the local shelters but have always wanted to do more.

Princess Jade wouldn't handle fostering very well, so we thought of another way we can help - Hosting a charity 5k race where 100% of the proceeds will go to local shelters in our area.

The 2023 race was a huge success. We raised over $8,000 for two local animal rescues. We hope to raise even more at our 2024 race.

The funds we raise from the race will help fund not only food and supplies, but also veterinarian care, medical assistance, and spaying/neutering.

Many animals that come to shelters have been abandoned. Many have health issues. They can't save themselves, but together we can help them have a better life and find a forever home.

Setting up the race itself requires a lot of work and a lot of funds. We have set up this GoFundMe page for anyone who would like to donate toward the initial costs of putting together a successful event. Any additional funds will go directly to the animals in need.

Every dollar counts, no matter how big or small.
