DJ was an incredible young soul whose light was taken from us far too soon at the tender age of 16. He leaves behind his devastated mother and seven siblings, grappling with the sudden void in their lives. DJ was a victim of a senseless act of violence, shot in the head and left in critical condition, fighting bravely until he passed on. Now, he rests in God's care, his gentle spirit shining on in a better place. He was known for his kindness, his deep love for his family and football, and his unwavering loyalty as a friend. DJ’s genuine soul touched everyone who had the privilege to know him, leaving an indelible mark on all who crossed his path. To all parents and those who have experienced the profound loss of a loved one, we understand the indescribable pain and emptiness that follows.
