We the People National Finals

For the first time in nearly two decades, the Green River High School "We the People" team has been provided with the opportunity to compete in the national finals competition. The team has experienced a great amount of sucess already; they have achieved first place at the district qualifying tournament as well as second place at the state competition. The students are all dedicated to performing at a high level in the field of civic engagement.  This opportunity has given these students a chance to represent their community on a national scale. Eighteen students will travel to Washington, D.C, on April 27th. The estimated cost for the trip (including airfare, accomodations, meals, and judges fees) is approximately $31,000.
