Help to move our family.

Hi! As most of you know, we are a family of 7. We have 5 children ages 15/11/7/6 and 2. We live in a very small 2 bedroom apartment in New Jersey (it’s an old apartment not equipped with washer/dryer or dishwasher). As you can imagine, things are extremely tight here and our children have very much grown out of sharing a room. There are many issues as well with this apartment that I will not put out publicly. Our son is Autistic and not being able to have his own quiet space away from his 4 sisters is becoming a huge issue. Unfortunately, being a large family, not only is it seemingly impossible to find an apartment to accommodate our family, you can imagine it’s wildly expensive in Bergen county for a special needs family. We no longer can afford to be here.

We are trying to move to a more affordable state with housing that can accommodate our children and their special needs. We normally would not go this route but unfortunately our situation is taking a heavy toll on everyones mental health and I am desperate to make things better for our children.

We have calculated the amount needed to move and it would be around 10k. Unfortunately, being a large family, we cannot do this alone and are asking if anyone can help us get out of this situation. I put 12k because gofundme takes a percentage at the end of a charity cause. Any help is appreciated no matter how small or big it is.
