Help Aspen

This is Aspen. She is 7.5 years old. She was found in a Bunnings car park. Aspen is microchipped, and her owners contacted... we were expecting a happily ever after - sadly, this wasn't the case. Aspen's owner was the one who had put her in the car park as she didn't want her at home anymore. Supposedly, she took her to a place near her workplace so she could just feed her - the owner had not seen her for four years.

Aspen is now in care. Aspen started vomiting and looked extremely uncomfortable. She was taken to the vet and had a mass in her stomach - she needed surgery that night. She was so hungry that she had eaten some sort of black plastic that had taken up the whole of her stomach capacity. Aspen is now out of surgery and recovering.
