Daniel Vokhgelt

My name is Daniel, I am 12 years old. I graduated from 6th grade on May 28th. About a month ago, I was diagnosed with a rare form of Sarcoma, a cancer that develops from connective tissues in the body, such as muscles, fat, bones, membranes that line the joints, or blood vessels. The cancer was pretty advanced by the time we found it, but I am currently undergoing an initial six week chemotherapy treatment to shrink the tumor. I am brave and am fighting this cancer to get back to doing the things I love -- like playing the piano, building Legos, developing apps (Mr Convertor [Yes, it is spelled that way. There was a typo on "converter" and the app store wouldn't let me put a . in "Mr."], iFactorial, & NTH power root are in the Apple store), creating websites, and hanging out with my friends. My hope is to go to MIT and graduate with degree in Computer Science. I appreciate all your thoughts and notes of encouragement... keep them coming, as they give me strength! When I am feeling better, I look forward to seeing all of you :-)
