Help Miss Manach & Laurette recover from housefire

Update July 7th: Both my Grandmother and Aunt Linda have been released from the hospital and are well on their way to recovery. There is still a lot to be done regarding rebuilding their lives. We appreciate all the love and support they have received thus far. I ask that you keep sharing their story and keep them in your prayers as they recover.

After waking up to heavy smoke, my dear Aunt - Miss Linda Manach- and my 91-year-old Grandmother were pulled to safety through a bedroom window by the heroic efforts of local firefighters. Their kitchen had caught fire sending flames and smoke throughout the house. They were admitted to the hospital and have been receiving carbon monoxide poisoning treatment for the past few days.
My grandparents immigrated from France and Canada in the 1960s. They purchased their house in a small New Jersey town and began their American dream. It is in this house that they raised five successful children, laughed with their five grandchildren, and loved their four great-grandchildren. My grandfather passed away a few years ago, and my kindhearted aunt became my grandmother’s primary caretaker.
My Aunt Linda is a dedicated preschool teacher, who cares for her young students as well as her elderly mother with humor and compassion. She has successfully worked in the same location for the entirety of her career. She has seen many students come and go and even kept in touch throughout their school years, graduation and lives. Many students and families have been touched by her kindness and dedication. I have many fond memories of spending countless summers within the walls of her school and it is obvious how much she is respected and adored. This is the first time she has been away from the school and it is hard for the students, families, and herself to not be there. I would love to see her be able to rebuild her teacher stock/supplies and show her the same love she has shared with so many others throughout her life and career.
Hi, my name is Christine Briscoe/Manach. My family is urgently asking for your assistance to support our two beloved relatives. They have lost everything. Anything you could donate would be truly appreciated… necessities, food, clothing. Any monetary donations would be used toward rebuilding their lives – permanent residency, furnishings, etc. My aunt lost most of her classroom supplies, so any donations of preschool arts, crafts, and decoration supplies would also be welcomed. If you are unable to help, please share this plea for support with as many people as possible. Please reach out to me or a family member to set up a meeting for physical goods donation. Thank you for your kindness during this tragic time.
