The DiManno family have turned a huge corner and our Owen is coming back to us. We could only try to feel and imagine what Rebecca and Steve must be going through watching their child fight for his life. It is the genuine regard and care for this family that made it that much harder to put what was happening in its place. We connected as a community and felt the power of such. Rebecca and Steve are now on the side of knowing that they will slowly but surely have their baby back . Lauren and Emma will get their brother back. This is all going to take time, love and determination . They got that for sure!
The DiMannos have had enough to worry about. We have all shared our hearts and our tears in this experience. Our greatest gift of emotional support as a community will hold them up. Our financial gift will help lessen the worry with some of the obvious and hidden costs that they will have going forward. Many of you have asked me how you can help and what you can contribute. Owen has turned a corner and we can support in a way that will help them as a family, so they can focus on getting our Owen back to being a healthy teenager again.
