On May 26th, 2022 Southwestern College Nursing program (cohort of 2022) will be celebrating the completion of our nursing program. We have all worked hard these past 2 years and are continuing to do so, despite the ongoing circumstances we've encountered. Our program can proudly report that in the fall of 2020 we were the only active nursing program in San Diego County. Students and faculty members have stepped up to the call during these times and rose to the challenge of serving the community via vaccination clinics and community health education, while still dedicating ourselves to our nursing studies and clinical practices. Our cohort has become an altruistic unit all our own with each team member assisting and readily serving the Southwestern students and the San Diego community.

Due to the pandemic, we did not have the opportunity to fundraise for our “graduate pinning ceremony” as past cohorts. We want to commemorate our nursing journey and create a lifetime memory that can be remembered by each student and their family members. Our cohort would also like to leave a legacy of service by donating a portion of our proceeds to the next graduating class of Southwestern’s nursing program (cohort 2023) with the hope it will be paid forward.
