I am a Haitian American. I immigrated to the US at age 8. By the age of 10, I got my first job and began sending money to my family back in Haiti. I've been sending support for my mother, grandmother, brothers, sister, cousins, aunts, uncle and other relatives ever since. At the age of 20, I became a US citizen. Since then, I've been trying to bring my family to the US but the process takes so long and is extremely costly. On January 6, 2023 the US announced asylum to Haitians. I'm believing God this is the break many Haitian families have been waiting for. I'd like to bring about 20 families to the US. Due to the extreme level of poverty and the nature of how things are handled in Haiti, most people do not have birth certificates, passports or other forms of IDs needed to leave Haiti; not to mention transportation or means to acquire these documents. It is a large undertake to aid them in acquiring these necessary documents, without assistance they will not be able to leave Haiti. In addition to the expenses that will be incurred in Haiti, the more hefty expenses will come once they've been granted permission to enter the US. Plane tickets will have to be purchased for everyone. After they've entered the country, they will have to be housed, fed, clothed, provided transportation, and other daily expenses until they're able to secure working papers and find jobs to provide for themselves.

Due to famine and civil unrest happening in the country and the lack of available resources, everything is extremely hard to access and expensive. Haiti is not a safe place to be right now. Since the assassination of the Haitian President (Jovenel Moise) on July 7, 2021, they have been without a formal government in place and the country has been in chaos. As you can see in the above videos, every Haitian American is likely trying to get their families and friends out of Haiti to ensure their safety before its too late. I have lost so many family members to violence, sickness and famine. I'm moving as quickly as possible to rescue as many as I can to create a new trajectory for families. A legacy of peace, love, safety and security instead of poverty, death and hopelessness. Will you join me by lending support in whatever way you can?

On January 6, 2023, the United States Department of Homeland Security announced that it would be offering asylum to Haitians through which nationals of Haiti and their immediate family members may enter the United States. Individuals participating in these processes must have a supporter in the United States who agrees to provide them with financial support for the duration of their parole in the United States.

Galatians 6:2 - Carry each other’s burdens and so you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Hebrews 13:16 - Don’t forget to do good and to share what you have because God is pleased with these kinds of sacrifices."
