Medical support

Hi my name is Angelica Sowa and I do feel very vulnerable creating this, but this is my story.

I have spent the last few months lucky enough to save up for an unforgettable trip to travel around. And unforgettable it has been (but not in the best way) a couple days ago I had an incident while walking up a marked rocky/loose footpath to checkout the view. I fell from 20 metres into the water leaving me with a completely snapped in half femur following internal bleeding and pain I was not aware was possible. After this incident I had to get helicoptered to the closest city and operated on immediately.

the last few days post have been nothing but, painful an stressful especially being in a foreign country where I do not speak the language. Whilst trying to juggle getting back on my feet I have been contacting my travel insurance for financial care and support but they have declined due to very particular policy requirements.

i am trying to stay strong but am brought to tears very often with a very scary medical bill for a 23yr old to tackle. The bills are ongoing and recovery will take a while. With the situation I’m in anything helps, and in saying everything I’m so so grateful for all he care and love I have received and still count myself very lucky as things could have been a lot worse.
